Privacy Policy

Explains what information is collected from visitors of this site and how, where and for how long it may be kept, and what measures are taken.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit the website at https://akbulakgida.com.tr/ (the “Site”), where and for how long it may be found, and what measures are taken. The detailed notice on personal data under the Law is in the Privacy Notice (KVKK), and cookies and similar storage are covered in the Cookie Policy.

1. What the Site does not have

The Site has no membership or user account, online payment, shopping cart, newsletter/subscription, advertising, visitor analytics or tracking tool. Therefore no information is collected for these purposes. If such a feature is added in the future, this policy and the related texts will be updated first.

2. Information you share with us: the contact form

When you send the form on the contact page, the first name, last name (optional), email address and message content you write are used only to be able to reply to your request.

  • Route of delivery: The form is sent to the Site’s server with a request and forwarded as an email to the recipient address defined in the Site’s administration settings (currently info@akbulakgida.com.tr). Your email as a visitor is used only as the “reply-to” address.
  • Database and logs: The message content is not written by the Site’s application code to the WordPress database or to a log file.
  • This does not mean your message is stored nowhere: The email that is sent remains in the recipient mailbox, on the email service’s servers and in possible backups; the hosting/email provider’s own records may also exist. How long these records are kept depends on the practices of the recipient and the service providers. The inbox and email service is the Hostinger email service. Confirmation needed before publication: Retention/deletion period of incoming form emails in the mailbox and in backups (company decision)
  • Form security: To limit automated submissions, the form uses a single-use verification key (nonce), a hidden bot-trap field, a temporary counter tied to the MD5 digest of your IP address (at most 5 submissions / 10 minutes) and a random submission ID that prevents double submission. MD5 is not encryption but a one-way digest function; however, because digests of possible IP addresses can be computed and compared to match them, this digest does not count as anonymisation and is treated as personal data; it is used only for this security purpose.
  • Duration of temporary records: These records are valid for 10 minutes. When the period ends they are treated as invalid; WordPress deletes them from the database when the same record is accessed again or in its daily scheduled cleanup task. Therefore physical deletion may not occur exactly at the 10th minute and the record may remain in the database for a short time after expiry.

3. Cookies and browser storage

The Site uses only one first-party cookie: “brandbase_consent”, which remembers your preferences. There are no analytics, advertising or social media cookies. The Site does not use the browser’s local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage). For details and durations see the Cookie Policy.

4. External services

  • Google Maps: The map showing the address on the contact page loads only if you allow the “Functional” category in Cookie Preferences. If you allow it, your browser connects to Google; the map frame may load Google’s own scripts, fonts and images from its own domains, and Google may process data under its own privacy policy. If you do not allow it, the map does not load; the address and the “Get Directions” link are still visible.
  • Brand and business partner links: Some links on the Site go to third parties’ own sites. Akbulak is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; when you click a link, the policy of that site applies.
  • The Site’s own fonts and images: The page’s own fonts, styles and images are served from the Site’s own server; the Site sends no requests to a third-party font or image service for them. This is separate from the Google map frame’s own external requests when permission is given, as described above.

5. Security

The Site applies server-side validation in data-entry fields, permission and verification-key checks in administration screens, and the abuse-prevention measures described above for the form. How the Site is served in the live environment (including connection encryption) and server security depend on the hosting provider’s settings. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure; please do not write confidential, financial or special-category information in your message.

6. Children

The Site is not directed at children; personal data is not knowingly collected from children.
